Yes, iOS 16.0 and later can process PIN-based transactions.

No, it won't have a noticeable impact on battery life.
What if a contactless payment card is not being read?

The Tap to Pay on Android provides a device-specific indicator where the tap zone is located on the device.
Which devices work with CabFare Tap to Pay on Android?
Tap to Pay on Android requires an Android phone that contains a functioning NFC antenna and chipset.
Which operating systems can use CabFare Tap to Pay on Android?
Update to the latest commercially released Android version for the best experience. Runs a current version of Android (Android 11 or above).
What payment types can I accept with CabFare - Tap to Pay on Android?
You can accept any form of contactless payment including Google Pay, other digital wallets, and contactless debit and credit cards. Cabcharge cards and e-tickets are not accepted.

General FAQs
Where are the payments deposited?
Payments are deposited to the bank account you've set up when you first set up the CabFare app.
When will I be paid?
When you set up your account with CabFare, you were required to nominate a bank account for your daily transactions to settle into, this will happen on the following business day, and up to two business days, depending on who your bank account is with.
Can I resend a customer receipt?
Yes, simply go to the ‘Transactions’ tab, find the transaction, and click any of the options.
How do I refund a transaction?
CabFare policy is that you contact us to manage transaction refunds. Please contact us here.
I need to change the company name on the receipt, how do I do this?
The CabFare receipts meet the State and Federal taxi regulations. The business name was set up based on the information provided to CabFare. To get this changed please contact support@cabfare.com.
How do I search the transaction history or check if a transaction was processed?
In the CabFare App, you can view a listing of all your transactions by selecting 'Transactions' in the navigation menu. Here you will see a list of all transactions.
How do I know if the customer's payment card is contactless?
Contactless cards have an EMV® Contactless Indicator.
